All our freight, transport and warehousing activities are governed by German trade law (Handelsgesetzbuches – HGB). For our removals, our own terms and conditions also apply (Allgemeinen Geschäftsbedingungen – AGB). For furniture storage, the general storage conditions (Allgemeinen Lagerbedingungen – ALB) of Deutscher Möbeltransport also apply.
In all other cases, we work exclusively according to the general German transport terms and conditions (Allgemeine Deutschte Spediteurbedingungen – ADSp). Point 23 of these terms and conditions of limit damages the damages to goods to €5/kg in accordance with German law (§431 HGB); damages for multi-modal goods transport including transport by sea is limited to 2 SDR/kg plus € 1 million or € 2 million, or 2 SDR/kg, depending on which amount is larger. Our transport insurance comes from Oskar Schunck KG, Bielefeld.
